Facility, Classrooms & Grounds
The Virginia Tech Hampton Roads Center is co-located with the Agricultural Research Extension Center on a 70 acre campus just off interstate 64 at the intersection of Northhampton Boulevard and Diamond Springs Road, in Virginia Beach. The facility houses offices, laboratories, classrooms, a conference room and a 12 station computer laboratory.
Classrooms are equipped with state of the art video conferencing and audio visual equipment. The conference room will accommodate meetings of eight to ten. These facilities, along with the support of the Center faculty and staff are an excellent choice for your small meetings, workshops, meetings or seminars.
The Arboretum and Display Gardens located on the campus are open to the public year round at no charge. They feature a wide display of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees that are being evaluated for suitability to the Hampton Roads climate and conditions. Numerous groups have used the grounds for special events such as weddings and picnics.
